360° Reflectivity- A garment that includes light-reflecting trim to enhance visibility and safety at night or in low light.
Antimicrobial- Fabric treatment that inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria on the garment.
Breathable Mesh- Panels and insets that increase comfort and ventilation by allowing excess heat to escape from the garment.
Brushed- Brushing is a mechanical treatment that gives fabrics a soft and fuzzy texture as well as a warm hand feel.
Chafe-resistant- We design with flat and bonded seams, seamless fabrics and elastic on the outside of hems so that extra abric and stitching aren't rubbing against your body.
Compression Fabric- Performance-enhancing fabric with a tight fit that provides muscle support and fatigue reduction.
DWR- Durable Water Repellent. A coating added to fabrics to repel external water sources.
Flat Lock Seams- Sewing technique that creates a perfectly flat seam to reduce chafing and increase seam strength.
Four Way Stretch- Knit or woven fabric offering multidirectional stretch in a wide range of motion.
Gusset- A diamond-shaped patch sewn into a garment's crotch (between the legs) for greater freedom of movement and to prevent tight fitting shorts, pants, or crops from camel toe.
Hidden Waistband Pocket- Our women tights have small pocket inside waist band for coins and keys.
Laser Cutting- We use lasers to cut patterns into garments for venting as well as to finish and shape some of our hem edges.
Moisture Wicking- Performance fabric trait that improves comfort by drawing sweat away from the body and transferring it to the fabric's outer surface, where it can evaporate.
Removable Cups- Soft padded inserts in bra that add shape or can be removed for comfort or extra room.
Reversible- We craft some of our fabrics with two faces so we can use both sides of the fabric.
Seamless- Garments constructed without sewn seams to reduce irritation during vigorous activities and improve overall comfort against the skin.
Seam-Sealed- Leak proof treatment that uses either seam tape or seam-sealing glue applied over stitching to keep out external water sources.
Textured- Textured fabrics may have a slightly different look, fit or hand-feel. Few of our favourites are Herringbone, Pique, ribbing, Denim, Gingham.
Thumb hole cuffs- Slits in cuffs that prevent sleeves from riding up. The cuffs have an extra flap that folds over your fingers, like built in mittens, to help keep your hands and fingers toasty warm on chilly days or while freezing fingers for touch screen and other devices.
Two-Way Zipper- Zipper construction that opens from both the top and bottom, offering versatile styling and comfort suitable for a wide range of activities.
UPF- Ultraviolet protection factor. A measure of a garment's ability to protect skin from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.
Waterproof- Garment made with performance fabric and sealed seams, rendering it completely impenetrable by external water sources.
Water-Resistant- Garment constructed to repel moderate exposure to external water sources.
Zipper Garage- Feature of construction designed to prevent zipper from rubbing and chafing the neck and chin.
